Saturday April 25th, beginning at 11:00 in the morning and dispersing by 1:00pm. Just a couple of hours out of a beautiful spring day.

We will be gathering in the south-east quadrant of LaFayette Square, right across Pennsylvania Avenue from the White House. What a great location! (see map) Red line Metro stop is Farragut North. Orange/Blue line Metro stops Farragut West or McPherson Square. There may be street parking available, but it will be hit or miss.

If you're coming from Northern Virginia, we might suggest parking in the big parking garage at the Ballston Common Mall in Arlington. It's a couple of short blocks south of the Ballston Metro stop on the Orange line and is not very expensive.

What we need:
One or two people who can take approx 2 hours of video of our speakers and event in general and be able to edit into up-load-able chunks for websites like YouTube, etc.

NOTE: the permit from the Park Service prohibits camera tripods - hand held only.

If we get more than 3000 participants (Yes, please!) we will have to designate some marshals to help corral and direct us all. To be a marshal, you'll have to wear a red armband (for identification) and have your cell-phone on (for coordination).

What to bring:
YOUR FRIENDS! Please let us know how many you expect to be in your group.
Placards expressing your reason for being there. Tasteful, please. We want to inform, persuade and encourage people, not insult them.
Bring extra placards/signs to hand out to others.
Bring a smile. We WILL survive this moment in history and go on doing the RIGHT thing.

NOTE: the permit from the Park Service says we can't build any enclosures, stages, etc.
