Why Beauty Matters

Yesterday was a particularly mild day here in January. We just sat outside for an hour or so with our dogs, looking over the pond with the ducks swimming. Seemingly doing nothing; yet it felt very healing. And it was!! We need to connect or re-connect with the sublime, it's our lifeline, in a way. Of course, we sometimes get bogged down in the mundane matters of life, but without a touch of the sublime, we are lost.

Our workshops rely on this seemingly simple method to re-connect the the highest and best in ourselves. So, why does beauty matter? We cannot say it better than Sir Roger Scruton.
